To Dr. Wes Anderson:
I am the girl who you hypnotized at the National Youth Leadership Forum ATL (6/15 – 6/24) and I was the one who used to be afraid of feet. I just wanted to write you and tell you thank you so much. It’s nice not being tormented by my family or being scared anymore. Thanks to you I have decided to become a psychohypnotherapist- a psychologist who uses hypnotherapy as a healing process. It was really hard after me being hypnotized. People thought I was faking, but 1) I wouldn’t fake anything like that and 2) it’s hard to cry that easily for me (although, I don’t know why I was crying). But I really wanted you to write about what happened right after I was hypnotized. During the hypnotism, when I was standing, you told me: “don’t move your hand to your face until your not scared anymore.
(second email) thank you. i never actually finished what i was saying- my computer was being funny. but when you said don’t move your hand to your face until you’re not scared anymore i was like ok but when i was walking back to the DUC and i raised my right hand to brush hair out my face i found that i couldn’t and the thought “you cant put your hand there b/c you’re still scared” just popped into my head. a few minutes later while i was in the building i tried to brush my hair out again and i still couldnt and you know everybody was still thinking it was a joke (i had been in the hypnotist’s show the other day and told everyone i was just acting…) so two girls tested me to see if i was and i was perfectly fine…i turned back to the computer and raised my hand to brush the hair out my face and I COULD!!! finally… but i just wanted to tell you that so thank you sooooooo much…and where can i take a hypnotism course??? well contact me whenever and again thank you
