Pain Medicine News reports that Research published in the American Journal of Medicine proves that smoking cessation can help reduce spinal pain in patients regardless of age. Initially, the researchers thought that older patients would have a more difficult time stopping smoking and that the benefits of pain reduction would be less than for younger patients.
The research contradicts those assumptions. People of any age can stop smoking, and aged is not predict the difficulty or success rate of someone who’s quitting smoking.
When hypnosis and NLP are combined, the success rate is up to 95%. Which is a good reason for chiropractors, orthopedic doctors, and physical therapists to work in conjunction with hypnotherapists for the benefit of their patients with spinal pain.
